Verdygo B.V.
Suppose there was no wastewater infrastructure. Would we opt for the robust design that the conventional Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is? Or would we opt for more flexibility and adaptability to create a future proof plant?
Those questions arose at Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg (Water Board Limburg) and formed the basis of the development of Verdygo: an innovative, modular design and construction technique that makes wastewater treatment flexible, inexpensive and sustainable. As Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg is a public organization, the subsidiary Verdygo BV was established in March of 2015 to pursue knowledge exploration and knowledge exchange with private parties at home and abroad. Verdygo BV will act as a consultant in wastewater solutions and provide related services. Verdygo BV will work with commercial partners to market Verdygo on a global level.
Our services
The core business of Verdygo BV is providing engineering services, concerning the modular way of building wastewater treatment related installations
(e.g. wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations).
- Support in preparation/tender phase
Our design specialists can participate in the in the preparation/tender team to provide support in producing tender documents that include modular way of building. Using our expertise is useful for consultants and/or contractors who want to enter a tender procedure concerning modular installations. - Modular engineering services
Our design specialists can participate in the design team for specific modular engineering. - Commissioning
Verdygo specialists can provide support with the commissioning of newly built modular Verdygo plants. We share our knowledge in the field of technology, maintenance and operations. - Training
Verdygo specialists can offer training to local operators in order for them to be able to operate a Verdygo plant independently. - Monitoring
Verdygo BV has its own Central Control Room (CCK), from which all the newly built Verdygo plants that are connected to the CCK environment can be monitored and controlled. - Operations
If desired, our specialists can take care of the complete operation of your Verdygo plant.

Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg (Water Board Limburg)
Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg (Water Board Limburg) is Verdygo BV’s parent company. Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg is a public organization that produces purified wastewater by transporting and treating wastewater and drying dewatered sludge. This wastewater originates from the 500,000 households and 30,000 companies that are connected to the sewage system in the Province of Limburg in the Netherlands.
In their 17 sewage treatment plants, Waterschapsbedrijf Limburg does not only purify the water, but also derives energy and natural resources from the residue, making them an important link in the water chain.
